Je n’ai pas grand chose à te dire.

J’ai demandé à la lune
Et le soleil ne le sait pas
Je lui ai montré mes brûlures
Et la lune s’est moquée de moi
-Indochine

Only a few battles determine the outcome of the war. If to win the war I'd have to lose them, I would do that.

But who determines when does the war end and what the outcome is? will losing this battle help me win the war? and is this battle really a battle lost? I'd rather think of it as a battle won, but that's just me.

It's about time the fat lady sings.

It's about time the fat lady sings is like the perfect line!!!
i think i read somewhere this: who wins in the war is based on how many people die, then this is what it all comes down to, that is what we are basing our victories upon. ( there was a point to this but i lost it!)
