tehehehehe im not into bikini women either, i love men and men only.....well that's when I don't want to strangle them. im just saying that usually these days the "goodness" of a song is qualified by the music video...and the more bikini girls jumping around the better rating it gets
Meli: Yes indeed, I couldnt agree more!! A Saudi newspaper promised me a whole page a couple of years back, but when i wouldn't put a photo of me in the article they gave the page to a girl who makes houses out of tongue depressors =_=
Souma-LOL :) at the poor quality of your replacement. I once did a live piece on the ethics of assisted suicide which was apparently followed by the happy news of a car factory opening...and this on a top quality public broadcasting educational station. :S

Texan: it's awesome, isnt it? this is a new German band who play covers of songs; in 6os rock versions. their lead vocalist is reminiscent of Elvis Presley, to me at least... check the "music" tab on my blog...
Yes it was just mind boggling when I found out. Demeaning to the topic, particularly as before I was interviewed they should a longish piece on Sue Rodriguez, a Canadian woman who suffered from ALS, and battled for the right to assisted suicide, and then when too weak to wait any longer had an unnamed physician help her commit suicide, while friend and fellow activist, politician Svend Robinson stayed by her side--in private, no proof, no charges or convictions.
Somehow, whatever one's view of assisted suicide, she deserved better than to be juxtaposed with such a happily materialistic topic.
Chiara: yes, she did deserve much better than this. regardless of one's views on assisted suicide, this is a woman who fought in her illness for something she wanted. something she believed would make her fare better than she was...
